Lions (& Rattlers & Dragons & Longhorns) & Bears – Oh My! @ Sedona Heritage Museum
Oct 7 @ 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm

“And so, in his quest for goals or gold, a man may lie to his friends, and work out ways to fool the law, and tie up all loose ends. And he may mask illicit tasks, and even face down danger. But in spite of his brain, and his place in the food chain…there’s no escaping nature.”

An award-winning actor, playwright, and historian, Michael Peach is especially good at bringing to life history and his subjects. But, he isn’t afraid to spin some tall tales, too.

This new show focuses on nature and animal friends (or foes) of the southwest. “…and according to this plan, God meant the hand of man to tame the wild and cultivate dominion. So the higher up, the gladder, here on evolution’s ladder. But maybe that’s a matter of opinion.”

Dec 9 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Mike xmas 2 smEncounters with the ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future teach miserly Ebenezer Scrooge what it means to be human in this perennial holiday favorite.

Keep cozy by the fire in the Museum’s historic Jordan House red rock fireplace as you enjoy this dramatic reading of the Dickens classic by local award-winning actor Michael Peach.

In lieu of paid admissions, each guest is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Sedona Food Bank.

Arrive early to enjoy the Christmas in the Park festivities, and take advantage of sales in the Museum Gift Shop, which specializes in locally made items, movies made in Sedona, and books, toys and gifts.
