Mondays at the Museum features folks who are willing to share their skills at crafts that are not practiced frequently these days, what with all the modern conveniences we have. Many of these skills have fallen by the wayside; some have been refreshed with a modern twist. Anyhow, every Monday, we present either a demonstration (you watch & ask questions) or a workshop (YOU do the work - with instruction). Some are free, some we have to charge a small fee to cover the cost of supplies. We always have fun and hope you can join us!

Here's a sampling of what happens around here on Mondays:

Shirley Albrecht, of Red Rock Basket Studio (284-3675),

enjoys using basket weaving supplies and techniques to create unique ornaments.

Making Prickly Pear Jelly-or is it syrup?

Corn Husk Dolls, Pasta, Quilting

The view from our front porch...is it any wonder members of the
Verde Valley Weavers & Spinners like to park their
spinning wheels here occassionally?
